Hi! My name’s Ada, please refer to me with pronouns they/them. I’m a student at Lancaster University studying for a BA (Hons) in Linguistics. My degree’s a placement scheme, so if you’re interested in having me for the 25/6 academic year, feel free to hit me up as in the contact section.

I was born in Cambridge on 10 June 2005 but really grew up in Scotland as I moved there from Washington State (where my dad had been working for four years) at the age of 6 due to my parent’s separation. I lived in a few different houses in Midlothian under my abusive father before liberating myself by moving to live with my Mum in Greater Manchester, England in 2022. I completed my education there before going to University.

I am Autistic and Non-binary, so I have a unique experience of the world I want to share as part of this blog. I am also somewhat of a politico and a member of the liberal democrats, so I will definitely talk about politics as well.

Outside of that, I am a lover of both video and board games. I am an avid consumer of media and media critique as I love talking and thinking critically about what we create. I also draw, write, sing and go to Lancaster University’s Dr Who society in varying proportions.
